Flying our home made kites

It was such fun flying the kites that we made this week! The wind was just right! If anyone wants to know how we made them, don't hesitate to ask us.

Our Scarecrows

We loved making our scarecrows - our blend this week was "sc" - I am sure they will scare away the birds when they want to eat the seeds we have planted!

Lunch at Dixon Park

The Merry-go-round was a big hit and after having our lunch - with some hot chips - we all had a lovely play on the playground.

Our morning at Greymouth Pool

We had an awesome day at the pool, with lots of fun and laughter. These photos show some of the good times that was had.

Ripper Rugby - with parents and children

We had a shared lunch and then played Ripper Rugby - thanks to all who participated - it was great fun!!

Wintery Snowmen

WE have had a wintery blast this week and our sound was "w". We were glad to be inside to make our "Wintery Snowmen"

We learnt all about breathing from Harold. We learnt about trees, oxygen, lungs, the heart, the wind pipe (trachea) and carbon dioxide.

Buddy Reading

We went outside on Friday and we read to our buddies. We are getting better at our reading and it is fun to read to our buddies.

Munching Mike's Mobile

We made some magic mobile phones with plastic cups and string. We can speak to each other by keeping the string tight and talking into the cup while the other person listens with the cup over their ear. Magic!

Fun outside at school

We were put in pairs and we first linked arms and walked to the end of the field. In our pairs we had a wheel-barrow race. We laughed so much because it felt so funny being the wheel-barrow.
